They Live Remake Still in the Works But Without the Sunglasses

This is a travesty! How can you remake John Carpenter's cult classic They Live without the sunglasses? If you don't know what we're talking about, maybe you should pick up a copy of They Live on DVD and see for yourself. A remake of They Live was first announced way back in 2008 and hasn't been mentioned since. At the NY Comic-Con, sci-fi site io9 caught up with producer Eric Newman (also of The Thing prequel) and got some details out of him about the remake, including who's writing - D.B.
