Once you beat the main quest in Pokemon Black/White, you're free to import all your Pokemon friends from Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver to your heart's content. There's a tiny catch though – they can't bring any items with them. No matter how nicely you ask that Pidgeot to try and smuggle your extra Master Ball under his wing, it ain't gonna happen – the Poke Transfer sees all.
No need to despair though, because almost any item you could ever want or need
