George Clooney Chooses Ryan Gosling to Lead 'Farragut North'

Last month we heard about the cast coming together for a feature adaptation of Beau Willimon's critically acclaimed play, set during the Iowa primary presidential race. George Clooney is still set to direct, and while he had offered the lead role to Chris Pine (who played the part in a production of the play in Los Angeles), it looks like Pine may have turned him down.
